Check out this awesome photo - this one deserves an award.

Fireworks, Lightning, Sunset, a Comet, and the greatest of Aussie icons, the Beach, all in one image.

The photo was taken on Australia Day (26th of January, 2007) just north of Hillary's Marina (near Perth), you can see the harbour wall on the left with fireworks being launched.

In addition to the obvious lightning on the right in the photo, look between the two displays (fireworks and lightning) and up in the sky just below the clouds to see the third - McNaught's Comet.
This comet ! was only seen in the southern hemisphere for just over a week just before sunset.

Then check out the beautiful white sand and clear unpolluted waters of a West Australian beach. You know the day was stinking hot (41C) but right now around sunset it is starting to cool off nicely as the breeze known as the Fremantle Doctor comes in and the thunder heads are
building up out over the Indian Ocean .

Does it get any better than that!
